Χριστίνα Γιοβάνη

Certified and experienced board director with over 30 years in public development banking, corporate finance, and strategic advisory. She brings extensive governance experience across listed companies, national institutions, and advisory boards, with expertise in regulated markets, infrastructure and corporate financing, credit risk, and digital transformation.
She began her career in 1994 with Interbank and subsequently held senior roles at AmEx Bank and ABN AMRO, focusing on structured financing, restructuring, and credit assessment. She later served as financial advisor to the Municipality of Athens and the Ministry of Finance, strengthening her public finance and policy expertise.

As Managing Director of DEPFA Bank and Managing Partner of KBR Corporate Finance GmbH, she led the establishment and expansion of their international operations in Greece. She has also served as Executive Alternate Chair of the Consignment Deposits and Loans Fund and as Chair of the Board of ADMIE Holding S.A.

She is currently Senior Partner at The Best Practice Network, supporting organizations in risk assurance, governance, and access to funding through development finance, private equity, and private credit. She is Vice Chair of the BoD of the NED Club Greece and holds governance certifications from INSEAD (IDP-C) and ecoDa, an MBA, a BSc in Business Administration, and a graduate certificate from Harvard.
